“ART IS THE VOICE OF SILENCE: TO CONTEMPLATE THE DEPTH OF FORM IS TO PERCEIVE A FLEETING GLIMPSE OF THE ETERNAL.”
– Aldo Acosta Scholz
Aldo Acosta Scholz is a contemporary artist whose work begins where the image stops being an object and becomes contemplation.
Between matter and spirit, shadow and revelation, desire and silence, each painting holds an inner tension.
His work seeks contemplation: that place where losing oneself in the beauty of apparent forms becomes a way of drawing closer to the Self.
Each painting reveals a story.
A secret.
Aldo Acosta Scholz creates original art for sale, limited editions and fine art prints for collectors who seek symbolic, mystical and contemporary artwork with meaning.

Before becoming form, color, or matter, every work of art begins with something invisible: a desire. A force that drives us to create, to seek, and to discover what we have yet to understand about ourselves.
I invite you to explore the meaning of desire through my art. Receive a complimentary digital fine art print and gain access to a private video in which I share some of the ideas and symbols that inspire my work.
